great week

This last week Derek and I decided to do a little "get away." We have never left the kids and taken a vacation so we thought it was time. We decided to go to Vegas since it was close and WARM!! We had such a blast. We went and saw 3 shows while we were there which were absolutely out of this world amazing!! It was so nice to sleep in and stay up late, and my favorite was of course hanging out by the pool for hours each day. It was a much needed get away.

Then the day we got home Kali had a mothers day program at school put on by the first grade. They sand lots of cute songs and quoted some poems, it was adorable. I love that little girl and it is days like this that you love being a mom!!

Lexi has been taking dance this year which she loves.

We had her dance recital this week where her class played the little birds in "Hansel and Gretel"

She did such a cute job and I loved that she got to have her own special night.

Afterwards we went to brick oven to celebrate Lexis special night. Love you Lu!!!

VB champs!!

So one of my passions is still volleyball. I get to play once a week and love every minute of it. I have loved so much getting to play with old college friends and honestly we laugh like crazy and have such a ball together. Orem city champs baby!!!!
