California/Disneyland trip

The happiest place on earth!!

Back to school

we have started a little tradition in our home that the night before school starts we do a "spa night"  So I pamper the girls with facials, pedicures and manicures to get them all dolled up for their first day of school. Here's the girls relaxing while they soak their feet :)
The boys first day of preschool.  I am not teaching this year so they are ready to head to Mrs. Hollys
Lexi's first day of 2nd grade
Kali's first day of 4th grade.
My kiddos are getting so old I can hardly believe it!! I just want to have my little babies back!!

Twins turn 5

I cant believe my baby boys turned 5 they are the sweetest most angelic little boys on the planet,  They have been an absolute joy!! We did a birthday party at Classic fun Center which they loved.
Grandma and Grandpa great always give the grandkids $50 to pick out something fun for themselves.
All the boys at the party.

 Little Lex roller skating
Grandma Mecham from the ward stopped by to give the boys a full tub of bubblegum.

Summer of sports

So I am really behind on blogging so sorry for all the posts to give you an update on our life.  This summer was great. This was the first year that we got to spend a lot of time watching sports. Dom and Zak started a soccer league this year.  They really liked it!! They didn't always want to play though. they spent a lot of the games on the sidelines or wanting to go play on the playground. Derek and I were giving lots of little pep talks to get them to go back into the game....hehe
Overall it was a great season and it was fun to expose them to sports for the first time.
Kali started her first year of softball.  I was so amazed on how much she improved in one season.  She is great little softball player and loved playing. Her and I would go into the back yard a couple days a week to play catch cause she said she wanted to get better.  That was a lot of fun for me too to remember the old softball days and how fun it was.

Dom and Zak also started their first season of t ball.
Love their cute little faces.

Strippling warriors in Bountiful days

So I have to blog about the fantastic Bountiful days.  My mom had read in the paper that in the Bountiful days parade they were going to have 2000 young men march in the parade as the strippling warriors. So we decided to take all the grandsons up to see the warriors. Since we were going to be heading up to Bountiful I thought I would call in a favor from a great friend of ours "Beef "( Clint). He is a firefighter in bountiful so we asked him if we could do a tour of the fire station up there.   He is such an awesome guy and the boys loved it.

Then while we were waiting for the parade to start we went over to the carnival and let the kids have some fun on the bounce houses and rides.

Grandma got each grandson their very own stripling warrior action figure.
