School is out!!

Today was Kali's last day of Kindergarten, which we are really excited to be out of school and not have so much of a schedule. But I have to say how much Kali is going to miss her Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Jones. She has been such a fabulous teacher and so wonderful for Kali. She had made Kali love school and love learning and creativity. Thanks Mrs. Jones for being such a great influence on our little Kali.

Memorial Day Weekend!!

We had such a great memorial Day weekend. On Sunday afternoon our family went to my Grandpa Kocherhans's grave. I love this picture of the great-grandkids sitting around the grave. The kids also love going there because at the cemetery they have a bunch of cute bunnies all around.

Of course the greatest thing about any holiday is that Daddy gets to be home with us all day. Derek decided to borrow his sisters motorcycle and take the kids for rides. It was a total hit, all the kids wanted to do all day long was ride on the motorcycle. It was such a fun thing for the kids.
We also set up the pool in the back yard since the weather was so nice. The boys especially love playing in the pool, they are our little water babies!!

Bosly even had a fun Memorial day with his little buddy Moes. Derek's best friend Joel went out of town with his cute wife so we watched his dog for him. I think they became good friends

Mother's Day weekend!!

We had such a great Mothers Day weekend!! We had all the Downeys over on Saturday night for a BBQ for Michele. We pulled out the fire put once it got dark and had smores. Super Yummy!!!Grandma and Grandpa Bradford were able to come which was great to have them there. Happy Mother's Day Michele!! Thanks for being such a great Grandma to my kids they love you so much!! You are someone to look up to. We appreciate so much all that you do for our family. You have always been so supportive and offered so much love. Thanks for being You!!! We love you !!!

Then on Sunday we had a mother's day dinner with Grandma Chalmers. My dad called all of husbands and they planned the meal for us. So thoughtful boys, Thanks a million!!

The kids always have so much fun together, and I love that the cousins are so close. I loved this game the daddys were playing. The kids were standing along the fence and then the dads were kicking the balls at them, it was pretty funny to watch!!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!! Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you. You have been the greatest example to me of how a mother should be. I try so hard to be just like you so that my kids will be able to have the same feeling growing up that I had in our home. I appreciate so much the countless hours you have spent watching my kids so that I could get things done or take little breaks. And I love what a good Grandma you are, my kids adore you and love going to Grandma's. I love you!!

Moms Kindergarten Day!!

Friday was Moms Day at Kindergarten. I got to go to school with Kali and all the Kindergarten kids put on the cutest little performance for all the Mommies. They sang 3 songs and quoted few poems which were so adorable, my favorite was they quoted a poem about all the hats that moms wear. After the cute performance we got to take them to eat lunch in the lunchroom for the first time to start getting them ready for 1st grade. It was so much fun!! I love getting to have one on one time with Kali cause I feel like I don't get to do that very often with all that the twins require of me. I love being a mom!!!

The hair cuts.

Kali has really been wanted to cut her hair since she saw a bunch of girls in her kindergarten get theirs cut short. So after thinking about it a little I was okay with it but I told her that she would have to call Daddy and get his approval. So Kali made a phone call to Derek and told me that he said that he loves long hair but she could decide what she wanted to do. That afternoon I took Kali into get her hair cut, she was a little nervous but mostly excited. They cut off 7 inches, which kind of broke my heart to watch it fall to the floor. After we left the Salon Kali told me that she hadn't actually talked to Dad, which she followed by just kidding. Well when Derek got home that night I found out that he had said that they would talk about it when he got home. Woops!!! Derek actually really likes it, and of course Lexi wants to be just like Kali so the next day she had to get hers cut also. My favorite part was on the way home after Kali had cut her hair she says, " Mom, I feel 5 years younger." So cute!!! I think that they both look adorable!!

Fun with Daddy!!

Derek really is such a fun daddy, he loves to come up with fun little games for the kids. This is a tickle game with the girls where the person who could hold still the longest while Derek tickles there legs wins!! You can just see the stress on Lexis face.
Derek was shaving while the boys were in the tubby so of course when I walk in this is what I see......Derek wanted them to be a part of all the fun. No wonder why the kids always want daddy!!!

My boys!!

I had to do a post with my little guys. I can honestly say that there isn't a day that goes by that Derek and I don't talk about how lucky we are to have these little angels in our life. They are so perfect!!! I love their darling personalities and all the sweet things that they do. They have been nothing but a bundle of joy in our home. They really are twice the fun!!! Why didn't anyone warn me that boys were so much fun????
